Open airflow
High-airflow design keeps the draw open through water.

Find your joint size
Your water pipe needs a female joint of 10mm, 14mm or 18mm.
Load the chamber
Fill the chamber end, with a domed screen if you like.
Connect
Insert the chamber end into your device and the joint into your water pipe.
Clean and swap
Soak in isopropyl alcohol, rinse with warm water and dry fully. Use the spare in the meantime.

Really impressed
I’ve been using this adapter almost daily with different water pieces and it’s been rock solid. The fact it fits 10mm, 14mm and 18mm without swapping parts is super convenient. Airflow is excellent and doesn’t choke the Solo at all. I definitely recommend using concave screens, but I tested it with flat ones too and they stay put once pushed in. Thick glass and feels like it’ll last.

Do I need a water pipe adapter for the Solo 3?
To use your Solo or Air with a water pipe, yes. The adapter takes the place of your stem: load it, insert it into the device, and connect the joint to your water pipe. Read do you really need a water pipe adapter?
Which joint sizes does it work with?
10mm, 14mm and 18mm female joints. The stepped male joint covers all three.
How do I know my water pipe's joint size?
Most water pipes use a 10mm, 14mm or 18mm female joint. Our guide on choosing the right joint size shows how to tell.
Aero WPA or Aero XL WPA?
Both have the stepped 10/14/18mm joint and high airflow. The Aero XL WPA adds a deep-fill chamber for bigger loads.
Do I need screens?
They're optional. Some customers use concave screens for the most open airflow, or a standard domed screen.
How do I clean it?
Soak it in isopropyl alcohol, then rinse thoroughly with warm water. Let it dry fully before use. Our stem cleaning guide has more tips.
