LimeLight Frolic Accessories Guide: Stems, Screens, Glass Capsules and Water Adapters That Fit
Share
The LimeLight Frolic accessories worth knowing are glass stems that slot into the stock mouthpiece, pre-shaped screens for the cooling unit, glass capsules and chamber reducers for the heating chamber, and two ways to add water: a direct plug-in side bubbler or a 10/14/18 mm water pipe adapter (WPA).
Everything here is made by The Vapetrix for the LimeLight Frolic and is a third-party accessory, not an official LimeLight product. Each section links to the full product page, so you can check sizes and details there. The whole range is in our LimeLight Frolic accessories, parts and stems collection.

1. Glass Stems
Every Frolic stem here slots straight into the stock plastic mouthpiece, with no tools or extra parts. There are three plain options:
- Short Glass Stem, 70 mm: the compact one, best for carrying.
- Straight Glass Stem, 110 mm: the everyday upgrade, with a longer air path.
- Angled Glass Stem, 110 mm: the same length with a more comfortable mouthpiece angle.
A glass vapor path is easy to keep clean and does not add plastic taste, which is the usual reason people change the stock mouthpiece.
Which length? Choose the 70 mm stem if you carry the Frolic in a pocket or bag, because it keeps the whole device small. Choose a 110 mm stem if you mostly use it at home and want the longer air path. Between straight and angled, it is mostly a matter of comfort: try the angled one if a straight mouthpiece feels awkward.
2. Cooling Stems
If the draw feels warm, a cooling stem gives the vapor more time and surface area to lose heat. We make three, and all of them fit into the stock mouthpiece in the same way:
- Glass Cooling Beads Stem, 130 mm has clear glass beads inside.
- Vibrant Glass Cooling Beads Stem, 130 mm is the same idea with coloured beads.
- Spiralled Glass Cooling Stem, 110 mm forces the vapor along a spiral path instead.
None of these uses water, so they are the low-maintenance way to get a cooler draw. If you want water as well, see section 5.
For a side-by-side look at length, materials and which stem suits you, see our Frolic cooling stems comparison: beads vs vibrant beads vs spiral.
3. Screens for the Cooling Unit
The Frolic cooling unit uses small concave screens. Ours are 304 stainless steel, pre-shaped so they push in without bending. The Coarse Mesh Screen Set keeps airflow open, and the Fine Mesh Screen Set filters more finely with slightly tighter airflow. Both come as 12 or 24, and replacing screens regularly helps keep the unit working well.
4. Glass Capsules and Chamber Reducers
Two glass accessories change how you load the heating chamber. Both are 14 mm across and 8 mm tall, and neither has a lid.
- The Glass Capsules (pack of 3) hold your dry herb so you can load in seconds and tip the capsule out afterwards, which keeps the chamber cleaner. You can pre-load several and swap them.
- The Glass Chamber Reducers (pack of 3) narrow the chamber, so a smaller amount of material sits closer to the airflow.
5. Water: Side Bubbler vs WPA
The Frolic has two water options, and they suit different people.
The Direct Plug’n’Play Side Bubbler connects straight to the device with no WPA, adapters or extra parts. It is a glass piece with its own water chamber. Add a small amount of water and do not overfill it, because a low water level cools well and avoids splashback. It is the simplest route if you just want water on the Frolic.
The All-in-One WPA for the LimeLight Frolic is a plug-and-play adapter that lets the Frolic connect to female glass joints of 10, 14 or 18 mm on a water pipe you already own. It is easy to fit and remove, so you can switch between dry use and water use. It is the better choice if you already have a favourite water piece.
Which to pick? Choose the side bubbler for a self-contained set-up with the fewest parts. Choose the WPA if you own a water pipe or want to keep your options open.
6. Cleaning and Care
All the glass here is borosilicate and reusable. Soak stems, capsules, reducers and bubblers in isopropyl alcohol, rinse thoroughly with warm water and let them dry completely before you use them again. Remove a water piece from the device before you fill, empty or clean it, and never let water run down towards the device itself. Stainless steel screens can be replaced when they become clogged, which is cheaper than cleaning them repeatedly. If the vapor ever feels warm or harsh, our short article on why a Frolic can run hot or harsh walks through some easy fixes.
7. A Sensible Starter Kit
- One glass stem in your preferred length and shape.
- A pack of coarse or fine screens.
- Glass capsules if you like to pre-load.
- A side bubbler or a WPA, depending on whether you own a water pipe.
Keep everything clean with isopropyl alcohol and a warm water rinse, and let glass dry fully before use.
Final Thoughts
The Frolic’s accessory range is small enough to choose from in a few minutes: a stem for comfort or cooling, screens for the cooling unit, capsules if you want quicker loading, and either a side bubbler or WPA for water.
